What do I want to get out of this project?

For Senior Thesis, I want to be able to find an idea that I’m passionate about and will be able to practice the skills that I’m interested in improving. I feel like this is a chance for me to truly explore a topic that is meaningful and important. Topics that I’m interested in learning more about are environmental impact, access to sex ed information, cultural awareness, and dealing with loss/grief. Some skills I’m interested in developing are more about systems thinking, diagraming, and research. I’m worried about how broad and open this project is and what direction my project will go. For example, what if I have a solid idea, and after doing research the idea completely shifts?

A successful project to me looks like something polished and something that I would be proud to present. Also, I want my project to be something that would be helpful or be beneficial to other people.

Overall I’m very excited to work on a project that I’m (hopefully) passionate about and present to people.
